The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes
The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove are located in the northwest corner of the Twin Cities area. Over the past couple of years. Maple Grove has blossomed to become a premier shopping destination. To get to Maple Grove, you head northwest on either 94 or 394 out of Minnepolis towards the suburbs. Maple Grove MN is located at the point where 94 and 494 meet and become 694.
As you may know, the Mall of America is located in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. Some people beleive that the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes were built to draw shoppers away from this massive shopping center and to get them into the northwest corner of the Twin Cities. The Shoppes at Arbor Lake have a distinctive upscale look. The streets between the shops have a purposely small town feel. Althoug technically the Shoppes at Arbor Lake are a strip of stores and restaurants which are about 3 blocks long ( sort of an outdoor mall ), most people include many of the surrounding shopping when they speak of the Shoppes at Arbor Lake. There are stores all around the Shoppes at Arbor Lake including a thriving downtown Maple Grove MN area. The Fountains is another outdoor mall/shopping area with premier stores and maple grove shopping options.The Fountains are under construction and should be finished in the fall of 2006.
The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes include many fine restaurants in addition to the shopping. The maple grove restaurant s are within walking distance of the stores. Most of these restaurants accept walk-ins but a couple require a reservation. One Maple Grove Restaurant that requires a reservation is P.F Changs. This restaurant is usually packed with diners, so call ahead if you are unsure. More Maple Grove Restaurant options can be found in the nearby area within a few blocks of the Shoppes at Arbor Lake.
